A: Yes, the Operation Guide contains a step-by-step procedure for performing a Partial disaster recovery test at a local site using another set of BSDS.

Q: After I install GENDB2, must I continue the DB2 Disk Pack Dump/Restore process for disaster recovery?
A: No, the IDCAMS Automation feature will eliminate the need to perform DB2 Disk Pack Dump/Restore. Time and resources are saved at your local and disaster recovery sites.

Q: If I stack several Image Copies on a tape volume, will GENDB2 generate the correct JCL to mount and retain the Image Copy tape only once for multiple tablespace recoveries in the same job?
A: Yes, single tape mounting for Cataloged Image Copies is one of the GENDB2 features.

Q: Does GENDB2 support different versions of DB2 concurrently?
